Epinions 16 gig iPod Touch first impressions...

by  jimwarrick,  Sep 30, 2007
Pros: Form factor, functionality, beauty!
Cons: Expensive , WiFi hangs occasionally, and limited storage capacity.
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a cutting-edge MP3 player. Not for the budget-minded shopper though.
Review: Ok, this product has been almost as talked about as the iPhone but has had less than glowing reviews I believe due to being in the shadow of the iPhone. First, we need to realize the iPhone was first and therefore has set the bar for the Touch. We ...

Epinions A cut above with some serious flaws.

by  sunwolf,  Apr 23, 2008
Pros: Internet, music, games, video, full color, big screen.
Cons: Needs PC for charging and first bootup, no flash plugins, limited compatibility with streams, downloads.
The Bottom Line: definitely buy it, but be aware of serious drawbacks. Worth the money.
Review: I have never owned an iPod until I got the Touch. For one thing, why would I want to pay $200 or more to play mp3 files when I could get a cheap player for $25? Not very cost effective if you ask me. Then came the iPhone, which was WAY cooler than the ...

Epinions Could have been the king

by  akhilesh99,  Nov 13, 2007
Pros: Wifi internet capability, great screen, innovative touch screen software.
Cons: NO DISC USE, cannot input any data on ipod, no third party software support
The Bottom Line: This device could have been the king of all music players, PDA's and the like but Apple decided to clip its wings literally.
Review: The Touch is the best flash-based media player, with a great interface that works. In this review I would talk about all the good things it has and does but when you look at it the most important thing (Sorry Apple) is what it does not have and could ...

Epinions iLove

by  kdeskins,  Feb 15, 2008
Pros: Vast feature list, email, internet, music player, stocks; easy user interface.
Cons: Battery life, no physical lock switch.
The Bottom Line: Buy it, the best iPod yet.
Review: For over half a decade, Apple has been creating the most popular selling mp3 player of a generation. The iPod has spanned nine years, four versions, and branched from portable music player to symbolic icon of an era. The iPod Touch, Apple’s 6th ...

Epinions Apple iPod Touch replaced PDA

by  sudan2008,  May 17, 2008
Pros: Great design, Easy access to iTunes, Beautiful 320x480 pixel wide-screen
Cons: not enough capacity, Very difficult to adjust, Battery life still shorter
The Bottom Line: Apple iPod Touch - Updated and Enlarged! Test Drive it Today!
Review: For those who may be interested in acquiring an Apple iPod Touch as a replacement for a PDA, I have found it to be quite useful. The primary function used in this regard is syncing with Microsoft Outlook, which works flawlessly. Now I can check ...

Epinions Very very nice

by  vturesource,  Jul 16, 2008
Pros: Design, functions
Cons: Price, size
Review: This looks incredible. The touch screen is definitely the wave of the future. Very responsive screen. Maybe it's just me but it seems to able to distinguish accidental from purposeful touches fairly well. Lots of options and functions but I wish the made ...

Epinions Not bad for an iPhone with no phone

by  xsonsauce,  Sep 20, 2007
Pros: Bigger screen, flash memory, wi-fi browsing, sleek look, etc
Cons: Expensive, no click wheel, no keyboard for internet browsing, etc
Review: I sampled the new iPod touch over the last weekend. This isn't quite the revolution Steve Jobs might think it is, but it is fairly impressive, particularly in terms of wi-fi functionality. For those of you who have held off on the iPhone due to price, ...

Epinions Terrible product for users on the go

by  filmingdavid,  Dec 15, 2007
Pros: Safari browser. Wi-fi capabilities. Video capabilities.
Cons: Cannot operate without looking at it. Touch feature fails. You may get robbed.
Review: Sure it's an ipod. Yes it has a flashy screen. But I thought the point of the ipod was to be a portable listening device. What good is a device if you can't operate it without pulling it out of your pocket, stopping to fiddle with the various buttons ...
