The Bottom Line: i do not recommend it solely for the reasons stated concerning the messy and constant cleanup required.
Review: one thing i believe is not thoroughly explained in all these positive reviews - something i will not accept in future vacuums - is the open canister as opposed to a closed vacuum bag.
