Deep cleaning power

After having reviewed many other units online and trying out friends units, I bought this model in hopes that my carpets would sparkle. Bissell has done a nice job with this machine. The previous machine i tried, a Bissell Pro-Heat (model 8910?) did okay but having used that machine and then only a week later i tried this one and it pulled up a lot more dirt. It subjectively seems louder than the older model. The poor design of the early model has been corrected (ie the location of the on/off, heat, and clean selection switches is now much easier to operate), although the water tank design is different and i can't say i like the newer version. I have yet to try the attachments (of which there are many) so i can't review those. I highly reccomend this model of cleaner!
