If you need a good carpet cleaner DON'T get this one

The Bottom Line: Don't bother with this Bissel carpet cleaner if you want something you can keep for several years. It's cheap plastic construction is designed for looks only
Review: I bought my Bissell ProHeat Upright Deep Cleaner thinking I would use it for the occasional rug or upholstery that gets dirty around the house.
The product works just as advertised....for the first few months. Then things start breaking apart...

The Bottom Line: I'd keep looking, if I were you.
Review: You can't always just go with the most-trusted name, I guess. This cleaner worked very well at first, but has developed some problems over the last year and a half- and the warranty only covers it for a year.

This beast is too heavy

Review: My old Bissell gave up the ghost, so I bought the new model--with all the new features. The upper body is so heavy I can only do half a room a day. My shoulders and arms become very sore.

The Bottom Line: I absolutely recommend you stay away from this machine. It does not clean well, it is difficult to empty and clean, and it doesn't pick up water at all.
Review: I have always used Bissell vacums and shampooers. I have never found an appliance made by Bissell ...until the Proheat2x, that I didn't love. This is the most unthought product I have ever bought.

The Bottom Line: Bottom line - don't buy this. Shop around for an all around good carpet cleaner. This does not live up to it's claims... not at all!

Review: If you are looking for a floor carpet scrubber and not one that will do stairs, then this will work for you. You can find this at K-Mart for right around one hundred dollars. Bissell Pro-Heat turbo deep cleaner will affectively clean your flooring...
