This beast is too heavy

My old Bissell gave up the ghost, so I bought the new model--with all the new features.  The upper body is so heavy I can only do half a room a day.  My shoulders and arms become very sore.

Pros
It does a good job, the waste water demonstrates dirt has been picked up. 
Cons
It does not handle dog hair well. It is too heavy.
