dont let the price fool you,
Pros:
has a modern style
Cons:
plastic enclosures looks cheap, detailed speaker specifications arent given, not enough power
The Bottom Line:
If you want a good pc speaker system go with the klipsch or logitech systems, they are cheaper and sound better.

I listened to this system from bose and it didnt sound very good for the price $250 (same price as my 500watt jvc stereo). The sub sounded like it was going to explode at around half volume, and the small sattelite speakers completely overpowered the sub, so it was loud but not enough bass. Another thing i dont like with bose systems is that they dont give you the complete speaker specs, like power rating, frequency response, spl, which is very useful if you want to hook the speakers up to a different amp, they just expect you to buy it. This system was about 30 watts max and has a frequency response of about 40hz-20khz(guessing), they expect u to pay $250 for this :S. This cant even compete with the other good pc systems like the klipsch promedia 2.1's which have 200watts(only $150) of power, or the logitech z-2300 also 200watts(only $100!!), dont get me wrong power isnt everything, but i listened to all 3 systems and bose didnt stand a chance in this area. The only systems i like from bose are the home theatre systems which go for about $800+ they do sound good but for the amount of money there asking for, i could buy a real surround sound system (floor speakers, powerfull sub, center, good amp, the works). Bose spends way too much money on advertising so their products will be overpriced, and if you ask a real audiophile he'll probably tell u the same thing. I would buy, but if only the price was reasonable.
