Pros: Better than your generic speakers
Cons: costs three times as much as it should
The Bottom Line: Do not waste your money on this system. You can get much better for much cheaper. There is absolutely no reason to buy these speakers

Review: These things are possibly the greatest scam on the face of the earth. No one else but Bose can get away with selling a 2.1 system with a 4" subwoofer and two paper Tweeters for well over $200. Are they clear? Yes. Is the sound quality good? If you...

Review: My wife bought this 2.1 set for me for Xmas, and I must say they are awesome, the details of the highs, and the Subwoofer get some nice deep bass which I never got with my Altec Lansing speakers.

Pros: Look nice, control pod is great idea, good sound at low volume levels
Cons: Stereo sound is terrible! Not worth $400. Cheap plastic speakers.
Review: The Companion 5 speakers are the worst bose speakers ever. How can they say you can get the same sound from a 5 channel speakers in this 2.1 speaker system. At high volumes, the bass sounds terrible, people are surprised that there is so much sound...

Review: I have the older Companion 3 design, the newer ones may be slightly improved - I'm not sure.
I will keep this short and simple... but I'm impressed with them for the price. Sure, there may be much bigger, similar priced speakers around... |

Pros: Compactness, Great looking, Sweet sound,
Cons: None. It gives me value for my money!
The Bottom Line: Buy this speaker system. It will change the way you look at your computer. For its price, there is absolutely no competition.

Review: I sold Companion II to upgrade to Companion III. Even though I liked Companion II, I needed more low end in my music which Companion III readily provides. I never expected the low end in this computer speaker system to shake the ground or my whole...

Review: My wife wanted a set of nice sounding speakers for her desk and there was no way to have a surround setup. I did a lot of research on 2.1 setups (2.1 refers to the number of "main speakers" two in this case and a subwoofer, the one). My toddler son...

Pros: Very small speakers and subwoofer, incredibly accurate sound reproduction
Cons: Expensive, speakers are very light, mounting brackets place speakers in non-optimal directions
The Bottom Line: If you want accurate sound reproduction without buying gigantic speakers, these are the only speakers you need to consider.

Review: I bought these speakers as a replacement for my Logitech Z-2300's. My old speakers excelled at pounding out bass, but the midrange was very lacking, which made certain songs and human speech sound muddled. I purchased these speakers not only for the...
