Pros:
Looks nice. Great automatic cleaner. LCD on front of razor is nice.
Cons:
Way overpriced. Not the best electric cutting system. Trimmer seems inadequate for side-burns.
The Bottom Line:
Overall a good shaver, but not as great as I had expected for the higher price tag.

I was so excited to get my new razor, I waited 3 days to shave. Monday came, I was all charged up and ready to go. Half-way into my shave I wondered if this razor was worth the (approx. 185.00) price tag.
The razor cut very comfortable without nicking or discomfort. But unlike many of the other opinions, I found myself having to go back and forth over many areas just to get all the hairs cut. I also found that longer hairs were not so easy for the Braun to cut and at the end of my shave I was using the trimmer to go around and cut back the longer hairs on my face and neck.
I then tried the shaver again on a separate day when the hairs were not as long and again found that I needed to go over several areas multiple times just to get a complete shave.
Some things I did like about the shaver:
The LCD on the front which displays info. about number of shaves, battery life, need for cleaning etc..
I also really liked the cleaning mechanism with the razor. It cleans and lubricates well with a nice lemon scent. It takes about 30 minutes to clean and dry. It looks nice in the charger and also has a travel kit with cord.
Overall--maybe my expectations were too high since this shaver was one of the more expensive ones out there. However, I was disappointed in the overall cutting qualities of this shaver.
I would buy this again--especially with the cleaning mechanism but I wouldn't pay the retail price tag. This is a good 100.00 shaver but not much more than that.
