BEST ELECTRIC RAZOR

The Bottom Line: Will buy this brand again if and when this wears out. Don't wast money on disposable razors. This beats my Mach 3 that I thought was the best.
I've owned several Norelco razors given to me as gifts and a high end model I bought looking for a good razor. All of them caused razor burn and ingrown hairs on my neck. The manuals say this will go away with time. Not so. I was given a cheep battery operated Remington foil type razor for camping and it was better than all the Norelco rotary razors. It finely broke after 2 years so I tried the Gillette Mach 3 and was impressed until it came time to buy refills. I was given the Braun 9595 foil type razor for Christmas and was blown away by the shave. The design and quality of the device is excellent. It was about 200.00 but is cheep compared to buying refills for a Mach 3 for a year. This razor will last many years and holds a charge for a long time, great for travel . Most rechargeables use NiCad batteries which discharge even if not used in a few weeks. The braun uses Lithium ion and charges fast. The razor can be washed under the faucet when you have it away from home and its cleaning station / charger. By the way this works great too.
