Worth the Cost if You Have Bluetooth High Quality Audio
Date of Review: Jun 9, 2007
The Bottom Line: I like the headset and would recommend. Be patient while getting them setup and be sure to see what kind of audio profiles your bluetooth device supports.
I've had these headphones for approximately 3 months now and overall I'm pleased with my purchase. The music controls work very well and and are located on the right side of the unit. The "hands free" interface for your cell phone also works well and those controls are located on the left side of the headset. In fact, I've been able to have this pair of headphones simultaneously paired and connected with both my bluetooth headphone and bluetooth laptop. That is a nice arrangement so you can still use your laptop, listen to music, and never miss a call.
The USB cable is handy for charging and updating your headphones with new software. I didn't have much success on my Vista laptop but it seems to work with XP. Pairing the unit on my cell phone or laptop is fairly straightforward but may be a bit of a learning curve for folks new to bluetooth.
The sound quality CAN be amazing - let me explain. I've paired these headphones with some laptops that have a better sound card and the sound is incredible. The key will be to see if your computer or other device has Bluetooth High Quality Audio (usually found in bluetooth 1.2 or higher but not guaranteed). If it supports that profile you will very much enjoy the experience. However, if your computer only supports Bluetooth Stereo Audio you'll be less likely to be in awe of the experience. However, Bluetooth Stereo Audio users probably would have the same experience with any bluetooth headphones due to the bluetooth profile their system supports.
