When our old scanner went out on us, I began to look around for a replacement and this was recommended to me by a friend. I purchased it and love it.
It scans full page documents quickly. It scans photos with great detail. It's slim and sleek. It also comes with a vertical stand so you can stand it up on end and have it take up even less desk space.
The software that comes with it is easy to use and install. I can use any software package to scan documents or photos onto the computer. With this scanner, I was able to archive about 25 or so pages in about 10 minutes.
Unlike most printers and other devices, this even includes a USB 2.0 cable. That saved me $20 from purchasing a cable for it.
