Pros: Speed, quality
Cons: Size
Review: I have had this printer for about 6 years now and it is still going strong. The quality print outs in normal black and white and photos as well are just outstanding for its age. It is a very easy to use printer and paper can be loaded from the back...

Pros: excellent printer
Review: It took me months to find a good printer with a good write up in the correct price bracket and finally I found it, just as it was going out of production and being superceeded with the newer model. You may ask then why didn't I just go for the newer...

Pros: Prints out great looking black and white and color documents quickly
Cons: Proprietary and expensive ink cartridges.
The Bottom Line: This printer is well worth the money and ink usage has been reasonable so far. Just send your photos to the local Walgreens or CVS.

Review: Why did I need a new printer?
When the predecessor printer, my Canon Pixma IP4200 died due to my carelessness, I was faced with a dilemma. The prior printer used ink extensively and expensively, so I bought the ink cartridges in volume... |

Pros: Good sharpness on the right paper. Generally good results on any paper. Small, unobtrusive.
Cons: A bit slow on duplex - taking up double sided paper. No USB cable included.
The Bottom Line: Recommend the printer, if just for the price, and the reasonable use of ink and cost of replacement cartridges, if not all replaced at once.

Review: Getting there
It's a gem. I always liked Canon. People have complained so much about Epson, except for the very high end models. And I was replacing an old, slow, but actually very good HP 722c (which was 'hot' in its day). But the... |

Pros: Completely reliable. Excellent printing in black and colour.
Cons: A quibble: the under-computer printing feeder can't handle heavy photo paper, so just don't try.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had computers and printers for about 25 years. I have had this Canon IP4300 for well over a year and have never had the least problem with it. I can't say that about any other printer I've ever had.
Three tips: (1) Use Canon ink... |
