The Bottom Line: Get it! It's well priced for the quality you get but don't forget to look around. Make sure you check for coupons and save some more money!
I bought this printer on October of '07 so I've had it for several months. This is a great printer for the price; I haven't had any problems with it.
Like others have said, the print quality is excellent as well as the speed. The control panel is pretty easy and straightforward to use. It features a scroll wheel, color LCD screen for navigation and some photo editing options. One of the reasons I chose this printer was because it came with memory card slots. That feature makes it more convenient to transfer pictures from other media. I also like the fact that it has two paper trays that hold well over 100 pages each.
The ink is pricey and runs out quicker than others I have used. This is the only downside I could find but that depends on how much you plan to use it. Keep that in mind if you expect to print a lot and regularly. I paid $52 at Staples recently for the cartridge that contains the four colors B\C\M\Y. The printer takes five cartridges however; there is an additional black (more expensive) cartridge which is the quickest to run out. I would recommend you shop online for a better price; I just couldn t wait for the shipping this time. Basically, it s perfect for home and light office duty. Otherwise, it runs in to money so to speak.
