Great, when new......

When I first bought this printer, it was great. Black pages printed fast and clear. Photos printed quick and were vivid. The scanning and fax worked like a champ. But after a time, the problems started. large dots appeared on the pages. Then lines started appearing, and finally it quit printing black altogether. The scan and fax still work great and I can print anything that doesn't have any black in it, but that's all it is good for now. Cleaning, replacing ink, cleaning some more, nothing has gotten this to print again.
