Last of the Flip-LCDs

The Bottom Line: Very capable digicam with a well balanced feature set. A few stand-out features that make it perfect for me.
There are lots of reviews scattered around, so I'll just put my couple of impressions in.
The motivating factor for me to get this camera was the requirement of a flip/swivel/tilt LCD. I'm growing out of my Nikon 4500 with the swivel body, and it allows me to get a really nice variety of shots: over people's heads, upwards from the floor, around corners, basically anywhere you want that's not in the vertical 3-6 feet your head can go.
I almost pulled the trigger on a newer tilt-LCD Powershot 100SX, but the feature set wasn't what I wanted. I didn't need it's 20x zoom, but did want a good macro. Also, the 100SX was twice as big, and twice as heavy. Another nice feature I missed (even though it sounds silly) was an automatic lens cover. Something new to me is IS image stabilization. This helps greatly in taking low-light shots, and general sharpness of images.
I m very excited about using this camera, and hope it will be with me for longer than the 8 years my Nikon lasted! Good luck finding this gem...I think they're only available online through retailers outside the US. They've held their value pretty well too.
