The Bottom Line: Bottom line is that if you have used cameras before, this is a snap. If not seriously into cameras, it takes a little to get familiar with.
Review: The first time I turned on the camera and took a picture, it went something like this...[power on sound], zoom..."oh wow...zoom back out...", beep beep...click...pure joy. The picture of the airplane I shot dumping fire retardant on a wildland fire...

S3 IS still great after a year on the market

The Bottom Line: Buy this camera now, it's inexpensive and is all the camera you'll ever need.

Excellent, Fully-Featured Point-n-Shoot Camera

The Bottom Line: This is the camera for those that want the best possible camera without actually buying a professional grade camera. Well worth the money.
Review: This camera is a top-of-the-line camera in the point-n-shoot category. Canon just released the S5-IS, which is basically the same camera but more megapixels and a few other small features.

To be honest, you're better off getting this...

The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this camera to beginners and intermediate users due to it's quality and ease of use.
