Canon Warranty Service SLOW! Camera shipped with problems!

Bought this camera April 2005, to upgrade from 300D..
Thought I would get a better camera.. instead it just got WORSE!..
The autofocus was totally off, making every picture look blurry.. ruined all the pictures I took on my camping trip.
To top it off, Canon is taking more than FIVE weeks to fix it!
I paid $1000 to have a camera sitting in Canon's warehouse.. Who knows if they'll be able to fix it either.. they keep postponing it.. first they said 1-2 weeks, then they said 3rd week would be done.. now it's up to 5 weeks and still no camera..

The one I got was worse than a $200 point and shoot digicam.

Horrible warranty service from Canon..
