Is this meant to be fun?
Date of Review: Dec 14, 2000
Dinosaur is a game based on the Disney movie of the same name. I didn't see the movie, so I didn't understand the storyline of this game at all (if there is one). Now you take the roles of different prehistoric creatures and you have to do tasks. Most of these tasks are incredibly stupid and make little sense. One of the tasks I came across was climbing up trees to get food for a smaller just born dinosaur. Is it just me or is this game lame?
The graphics in this game are as I expected, quite poor. The view is strange for a game of this type and is a bird's eye view. This makes the game incredibly easy and might be fun for the younger kids who are between the ages of 4 and 9. Anyone older than 9 should avoid this game, this game belongs on Nintendo because of it's cute graphics.
The sound is also mediocre, I don't play this game anymore because of the annoying sound track. I felt like smashing the Playstation in three hundred different pieces.
The only good part of this game is the easy control system, that's why this game would suit a four year old. The bottom lines is that this doesn't make up for all of the rest of the problems in the game. So let me be the first here to say 'Don't buy this game!'.
