Get one of the other versions (I think I written this before...)

Date of Review: Sep 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: I can't tell somebody to buy this game, just because of the button issue.
Review: Donkey Kong Country was one of THE GAMES that defined my childhood. I have beaten this game on the Super Nintendo at least 30 times, probably more. The Game Boy Color port just didn't do anything for me.

Graphics:

The banana split.

Date of Review: Jul 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: Good stuff.
Review: I've come to the conclusion that the GBA was designed specifically for my generation of gamers. For myself, the second most pivotal point in my gaming era (the TG16 was my first breakthrough) had to be the introduction of the Super Nintendo. Since...

Donkey Kong Country: Return to the Planet of the Apes

Date of Review: Jun 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: Donkey Kong Country can be fun for those with enough patience or skill, but others may find that the nostalgia gets quickly lost in a sea of frustration.
Review: It's really no secret that most of the really good games to come out for the Game Boy Advance are remakes of classic NES and SNES games. With Nintendo re-releasing practically every pre-N64 Mario game, as well as Zelda: A Link to the Past and...

Super Mario Eat Your Heart Out - Essential Platforming Action

Date of Review: Oct 11, 2001
The Bottom Line: This game was a huge success back in 1994, and after a few minutes play its easy to see why. Out of this world, man.
Review: Way back in the good old days, the Super Nintendo was home to one of the best platformers of the age: Donkey Kong Country. Fortunately, for those of us who were barely alive back then, Nintendo has decided to give the game another go, this time for...

Kong loses big-time with this no-show!

Date of Review: Jul 3, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you've played the classic on the SNES, then that is enough. About the only thing this game will do to you is make you hate Donky Kong even more.
Review: Give me a break. This game was a classic on the SNES, and now they're trying to bring it back on the GBC? As you can see, it apparently didn't work. The graphics in this game are blotchy, the music is annoying, and the gameplay hasn't changed one...

Reliving SNES!!!!

Date of Review: May 5, 2001
The Bottom Line: This game is good for all kids and keeps them playing and playing.
Review: I bought this game after I saw the awesome commercials. This was the first game I got that is made for Gameboy Color, and the best game that I have now. The game includes the same thing the DK Country does on SNES. You are Diddy and Donkey going...
