LADIES, Throw your razors away for good!

Date of Review:  Aug 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you hate shaving, razor burn, stubble, messy goop, and ineffective chemicals, you should definitely look at this epilator. Absolutely the best means of hair removal I have ever tried.
Review: I have always had very coarse, black leg hair. After shaving, I would suffer from razor burn. In only hours, my legs would show stubble and feel like sandpaper. It was a never-ending battle. I tried the 'green goop'. It worked, but was so messy, and...

Best Unwanted Hair Removal

Date of Review:  Jan 15, 2003
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this product for use on the underarms and legs, as long as you don't get scared off the first time you use it!!! It's worth it!
Review: This product isn't for the faint of heart, the first time you use it, it WILL sting a bit. Remember to hold the skin taught and only do a small section at a time.

My mom bought me my first Epilady almost ten years ago, when in middle...

Good but PAINFUL!

Date of Review:  Feb 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: If you can stand the pain, go for it... But if you can't, it may not be worth your money because let me just say again, IT REALLY HURTS!!
Review: The Epilady is electric, it has a pretty long cord. It doesn't come with any other attachments but there are directions and a carrying case. The top part of it looks very scary...it's a wheel of fast moving tweezers. Almost looks like some kind of...

Worth the pain! My Story...

Date of Review:  Mar 24, 2007
The Bottom Line: Worth the initial discomfort!
Review: Like other reviewers I have fought a long and losing battle with coarse, dark, copious leg hair from hip to toes.
Daily shaving led only to night-time stubble. Waxing is great for bikini lines but those of us who feel like our bikini line goes...

Huge improvement over 1st generation epiladys

Date of Review:  Jun 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: Recommended because it is fast and it works.
Review: I would really call my battle with hair removal a battle. Luckily, modern technology has provided me with the tools I need, I would hate to see how I would fare in without these tools!

The enemy:

Thick coarse black hair, esp on...

Easier, cheaper, and more thorough than waxing.

Date of Review:  Jun 14, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you wax, you owe it to yourself to save a ton of money and start Epildaying instead.
Review: Okay, the EpiLady has gotten a bad rap. I don't know about the old one, but this one is as painless as you can expect, for something that pulls your hairs out. Why? It's fast. Much faster then you can tweeze, or your beautician can rip with wax...

Ahh at last, something that works!!!!

Date of Review:  Mar 15, 2006
Review: After years of shaving, nads, and neet, I have finally found something that works. I cannot believe that the epilady actually removes hairs from the root! I bought it thinking I'll try it, it wouldn't work and it would be stored with the rest of the...

Epilady Discrete--A mixed bag

Date of Review:  Oct 2, 2002
The Bottom Line: Though Epilady Discrete initially performs as expected, the ensuing ingrown hair problem makes this epilator best avoided.
Review: I purchased my Epilady Discrete nearly two years ago.

It has an adaptor and may also be powered by batteries, 3 AAA. The adaptor burnt out on me in no time, necesitating use of the batteries. It eats up battery power like a hog, and is...

Go for it!

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2001
The Bottom Line: I like it!
Review: Found it on sale here in Canada for about US$35 equivalent so it was a bargain. An efficient way to remove hair but hair does seem to grow back fairly quickly (at least in my case, not anywhere near the 4+ weeks suggested on the product packaging),...

I consider myself a body...

Date of Review:  Oct 23, 2002
Review: I consider myself a body builder. I can't stand hair as it blocks the muscles on my back, legs, chest, abs, and arms. Everywhere basically. I found it best to work small, painful areas a bit at a time. I'd continue to go over areas I'd removed hair...
