Fear effect 2: superior sequel

Ever since the days of Fear effect....games have always pushed the limit on the M rating. But this game fear effect 2 does more than push the limit.....it pushes it over the edge. Partial nudity, strong language, adult themes....this game has it all. But under it, is a strong story.

Storyline: Fear effect 2 is basically a prequel to Fear Effect 1. its about what events in this prequel brought together the characters in the first game. The game actually branches off into different stories as you go on certain missions. It's more deep than that with lots of twist and turns making the story lots more interesting. It's really hard to drop the controller on this game.....

Graphics: Graphics are barely improved from the first game but there wasn't much to improve in the first place. Backgrounds are looped to move seamlessy while you play. It's a real cool thing to see in action....You'll be looking around at the eye candy and it'll probably get you killed a couple times. But the game's graphics are limited on the aging playstation hardware. If anyone reading this has a ps2....ps2 greatly improves the graphics to this game...

Gameplay: is the same as the first. Resident Evil like controls as you go around shooting the hell out of humans and monsters. Puzzles are just as difficult as in the first making you buy a strategy guide. The only thing is there is twice as much puzzles and they are more complicated than the first. Only thing that brings down the gameplay is the inventory which is to cluttered and unorganized....which means finding weapons and items in the middle of battle can be difficult.

Fun Factor: Fear effect 2 is one of the best games out there. Dont let the adult themes steer you away...its to bad that young people will have to pass up this game. Its a really addictive game that spans 4 cd's....you'll be on it for a while. A must buy....
