Nice camera with the looks and performance
Date of Review: Oct 3, 2009
The Bottom Line: This camera is great for anyone and everyone. It is easy to take along without bulk, yet it takes great quality pictures like a pro.
This is a great camera for anyone from a novice to expert photographer. This was actually bought for my work, and turned out to be my personal camera. The video is quite a nice feature, and makes wonderful home movies. The microphone picks up voices well, such as recording children playing on a playground ten or so feet away. When playing a recording on the camera, you can fast forward and rewind it. The design is sleek and compact, and can be easily be slipped into a pocket or purse for a quick take along. There are some fun features for instance the macro (close up) shots, and trimming. This lets you zoom in on a photo and essentially crop it. My favorite thing about the camera is all the shooting mode selections, (anti blur, baby mode, night mode, fireworks mode and landscape mode to name a few). When selecting any of these modes, a brief desciption of what each does shows up on the screen. Another great feature is the slide show, this is useful since you can view your photos without having to continously push the, "next button". I had the camera for many months, before I actually tried the slide show. Nice way to show off photos. Uploading the photos to your computer, is really quite simple with this camera, with a quick plug in using the usb cord, which was included. You can also choose to use the Print to Order (DPOF) feature, I actually have yet to try this.
