Pros: Unique ISO range with low noise, performance, large LCD, battery life, good optics
Cons: Slight flash underexposure, semi-expensive proprietary xD cards, no superwide angle
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend Fuji FinePix F31fd if you want a compact, cool yet capable camera with 6.3-megapixel resolution, large...
Review: The new Fuji F31fd is an improvement ob the Fuji FinePix F30, which I tried recently. The F31fd adds face detection technology, increases built-in memory size and improves ergonomics in comparison with the F30. I bought the F31fd for $350 What Is ...

Pros: Good for those who want an automatic camera and those who want to adjustable settings.
Cons: Software is awkward. It can't be used as a webcam.
The Bottom Line: A great camera with lot of features that can be used by beginners and enthusiasts.

Pros: Battery, quality, build, low light, capacity.
Cons: Expensive cards, no full-manual mode.

Pros: Good up to ISO 800, speedy operation, excellent battery life
Cons: Difficult to judge exposure, insufficient controls, loose compartment door, xD cards slow and uncommon
The Bottom Line: Good for simple, fast snapping e.g. low-light street photography or kids, as long as you're not fussy. No battery life worries. The Finepix A800 is a budget alternative.
Review: I'd read glowing reviews of the high-ISO performance of the Fujifilm F10, F11 and F30 with interest, since I've always preferred to shoot in low light without flash. So when my old Canon compact became spoilt, I got the F31fd as its replacement. So far ...

Pros: High ISO for good low light pictures, Natural Light Setting w/forced flash, super easy menus/instructions.
Cons: Slightly larger and heavier then some rivals, face detection not always engaged, no image stabilization.
The Bottom Line: Solid camera with excellent performance in virtually all situations. Easy to use with great features and overall quality.
Review: Now that I've had my camera for a few months and have really tested it out, I'd like to post a few more of my findings, especially some of the issues I've discovered. Face Detection: Since purchasing my camera, I've noticed that face detection has ...
