I like the Garmin nüvi 300 Car GPS Receiver because it is slim and can fit in your pocket and the screen is big enough and clear enough to see all you need to know in a glance. It keeps your eyes on the road. The verbal prompts give you plenty of time to plan your next move, instead of when you’re on top of the junction. I have the speed camera on my unit now and I find it very useful, many times I have missed the speed change and the ping lets me know the error.

The only little con with the nuvi 300 is that the suction mount comes off from windscreen occasionally during travel.
I would recommend one of these to anyone interested and remember by having one you can transfer it from vehicle to vehicle easily providing you have a power supply in the front dashboard area. It doesn't need to be permanently installed to one vehicle.
