Garmin nuvi 250 Car GPS Receiver

One of the main reasons I selected this unit was because of earlier reviewers stating how easy it was to use - they were right! Had it out of the box, EASY suction mount down low on the windshield of my car, plugged into the 12v outlet, and down the road in less than 10 minutes. No charging the battery for 16-18 hours first before you can use it! Very intuitive with touch-screen menu - never even looked at the manual. But the manual for the Garmin n vi 250 Car GPS Receiver is well-written and does have worthwhile, interesting info.

The only little inconvenience is that certain menus and submenus go five levels deep. In order to get back to map, you will need to keep touching [Back] button one by one until you get back out to the main menu screen and then choose [View map]. It would have been easier if Garmin software engineers had thought of a way to jump to the map screen with a touch of one single button.

But, all in all, the n vi 250 is a fine pocket GPS that will open up your world to explore, without getting you lost along the way.
