Makes my life easier

Overall, I purchased the Garmin n vi 250 Car GPS Receiver because I was sick of printing out MapQuest directions, trying to read them as I drove, pulling out my reading glasses and all that. The interface is nice and simple. I would prefer an option to go back to the beginning rather than back out of tiered menus.
Along with the GPS come a cigarette-lighter charger, an instruction manual, and various mounts. Within moments of unboxing the unit I had it turned on and mounted to my windshield using the included suction cup mount. Setup was literally less then one minute.
There was very little charge in the unit on unboxing so it quickly became necessary to unpack the included charger and plug the unit in. I was pleased to discover that the charger was effectively a standard "mini USB" converter making it useful for not only charging the Garmin GPS itself, but any other device that charges with this standardized USB interface.
Battery life is a bit weak. Maybe 4 hours. I also think the charger cord is longer and less flexible than I would like. Charges fine off my laptop though.
I recommend the 250W.
