Garmin nuvi 200W Car GPS Receiver

I am impressed by the ease of use of the Garmin nuvi 200W Car GPS Receiver and can recommend this GPS navigator to anyone who doesn't like to read long user manuals.

Without any manual you are ready to go in a few minutes. The touch screen works well and the unit had no problem acquiring a satellite connection. All I had to do was throw in an address and it handled the rest. This model also has voice-guided directions on it. It will tell you that a turn is coming up and when to make the turn but it will not say the street names like the Nuvi 260 does (you have to pay extra for that feature).

Also, the Garmin nuvi 200W kept a 4.5-hour charge before it even started to show "low battery." An added bonus, you can use it like the yellow pages when looking for businesses because it displays their phone numbers.

Even though it is an entry level GPS, it is most likely all you will need if you are only going to used it to travel occasionally in different cities or find unfamiliar places in you own hometown.
