A very Good Racing Game

The Bottom Line: Buy you Will never Regret it.
This is one of the best racing games (series) you are ever going to find on a gaming system. The gameplay is fantastic and the realism is so unbelievable. I noticed that they put a lot of time into the cars and tracks. with the cars, they all have unique handling and engine sounds and the sound of the engine changes if you put a modification on the car that improves horsepower. The car detail is awesome because its like they took the actual car and stuck it in the game. The tracks are great because they look almost exactly like the real ones and they are even very detailed from cones to rolling hills its like a real work of art. One flaw is when they do the tracks backwards the lighting quality is somehow reduced and some tracks it makes it hard to see. For others the tracks shouldn't even be raced backward. The one other thing is that the Racing Paint Schemes available from Gran Turismo 2 was taken out and that made the cars look better instead of just having lack of colors. Another thing is that you don't need forty different variations of one car! They put just about every Mitsubishi Lancer ever made in the game when they could have put like a Galant and an Eclipse of two different body styles. The Licenses are somewhat difficult to obtain and you can't really do anything if you don't have them so that is like your first priority. There are plenty of races to from beginner with two laps to Professional with ten laps then to Endurance with 75 laps to 2hrs of racing. Its a bit time consuming but your get the benefit of winning every race that you obtain a free car. Which then you can sell it for money and modify a better car or buy a new one. If you like Gran Turismo 2 for PS 1 then you will LOVE Gran Turismo 3.
