Happy to the Heart?

I received Happy as a gift from my husband and loved it. Then when Happy Heart came out around Valentines, I told my husband that I wanted it too. Thinking that because it was another Clinique Fragrance, it would be as wholesome and vibrant as Happy. I just knew I would love it and could use it as an alternate scent (to sashay around in). Well, I got it and I was not as jubilant as I thought I would be. The scent was rather sweet and strong almost musty (not in a stank way).

It was not me! I was like, "Okay, you gotta where this because you asked for it." Well, I tried to make it grow on me, but it didn't nor has it. I wear it forcibly from time to time; just to make my hubby think it is the "bomb".

I tend to repulse myself when I wear it. It does not stink, it is just not me. Have you ever sprayed on a scent and then thought that you are smelling someone else? Not just that you smell them, but that they have on too much perfume! Yeah, that is the way I feel when I am wearing Happy Heart. Maybe it is my chemistry that does not mix well with this scent, but whatever it is; it's pretty obvious.

I am a perfume fanatic. Like most people have shoe fetishes, well I have a perfume/cologne fetish. I love to wear a scent that goes with my mood. Well, Happy is me when I am feeling quite sporty and looking quite sassy. Perry Ellis 360 degrees is me when I am more serious. I wear Miracles when I am in my romantic mode and so on . . . I have a scent for every emotion (just about). But I have yet to find that mode that Happy Heart fits. I am not saying it is not for you; but get a sample size tester from the fragrance counter and wear it for a day or two. Just to test whether you and it are compatible, because I seem to be out of sync with it!
