Overpriced and Underuseful

If you're planning to use this for print publishing, know that the graphics mainly max out at 600 pixels in height or width, so if you're printing at 300 DPI and want decent quality, you won't be able to use them above about 2" in height or width.

Additionally, if you're using them for the web, Hemera gives you a different, much cheaper option. Hemera's "Photo Clip Art 150,000" package has almost the exact same images as the three individual "Photo Objects" packages combined. And it's about 1/3 to 1/4 the price of a single "Photo Objects" package. For example as I write this, I can find the "Photo Clip Art 150,000" package going for as low as $16.99 while Hemera wants $199.99 for the three-pack "Photo Objects" bundle. That's almost all the same images for less than 1/10th the price.

What's the difference? The images in "Photo Objects" are about 20-30% bigger than their dopplegangers in "Photo Clip Art 150,000" (you get a pocket watch image at 384 pixels wide in "Photo Clip Art" and 492 pixels wide in "Photo Objects"). Also, you can save the "Photo Objects" images with transparent backgrounds for use in image editors, while "Photo Clip Art 150,000" will generally require you to select a background color (which you could then magic wand out).

If you'd need to knock out the backgrounds so often that having them already knocked out would make a huge difference in your productivity and you need the flexibility another 100 or so pixels in image dimensions would provide, then this may be worth the money to you.

If not, save yourself serious money and get their "Photo Clip Art 150,000" pack instead.
