Three-Fourths Perfect

I got this in December for myself for a christmas present, however I've had NOTHING, BUT TROUBLE with it.


The good is that the 480x320 screen is nice, colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the unit's structure is quite nice to hold in one's hand. Combined with bluetooth and Especially wifi this unit isn't half bad if it were not for the problems I've had...

Wifi signal is a toss-up and doesn't go full even when the router is in the same room, but adequate enough.... Bluetooth, never used it....

However Due to using warpspeed I had to send it in and I chose for refurb unit 'cause I wasn't patient enough... This time I got PXAClocker and instead of overclocking like I tried with warpspeed, I underclocked it, and it does the same thing - endless reset loop and even a hard reset will not help....

Things like this shouldn't be able to kill the device that easily, however I heard of a nasty bug that's random that can brick the device, and Palm refuses to fix that causes this.... I thought using all software ONLY control or such would of been bad and I fell into the trap and changed my mind about that, however I should of listened to my gut and stayed with the m125 I had :( as it was more stable...:) except for having to re-load upon a battery change.. :|

So if a total battery drain doesn't help I plan on going back to my m125 or did if your reading this in the future...

I say STAY AWAY and stick with the older units and try not to fell bad that all new programs are OS5 only as there are great older ones that could be found if one looks on the net... :)
