BT2010 Review
Date of Review: Jul 31, 2009
The Bottom Line: Excellent value. Superior to units costing a lot more. Has all the functions you need.
I was looking for a Bluetooth headset that met my needs. It has been a rough road. Some aren't loud enough. Some have a cheap earhook that breaks. On and on.
This one is the best I have discovered so far. The earhook is durable. The volume is loud enough.
I got it and was delighted. I charged it and was ready to go.
It charged under 2 hours. The USB jack is wonderful. I can charge it in my car or in the house. This is a must. Versatility. It uses a standard USB charging cord, which is used by many small electronics nowadays.
Pairing was easy. Tell your phone to search for new devices. On the Jabra, hold the center button, the one with the light, until the LED is constant. They will communicate, and the phone will ask for the password, which is 0000. After that, you are done. Your headset is ready.
There are three buttons. A vulone up, a volume down, and the function button, which has the LED on it.
It is rated at 7 hours talk, 200 hours standby on a charge. I do not use it that often so I cannot say if it lives up to this.
What I liked:
Nice and loud. I could hear it, even if it was not properly positioned.
Standard USB charging. Easy, versatile.
Sturdy ear hook. Not subject to breaking.
Dislikes: It cam loose from my ear sometimes. True, my ears are a bit big; but sometimes not a secure fit. Other than that it is great.
Allin all , a very nice headset. It is a keeper. I don't figure I will have to look for another one until this one wears out.
