No good

Date of Review:  Jul 3, 2009
Review: It has been hard for me to find contacts for my astigmatism, so I gave these a try, but I found they curl up during use and are just horrible to wear. They irritated my eyes and were hard to get in. I only had clear sight for a short while of use...

Time to rethink getting astigmatism lenses?

Date of Review:  May 16, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you've avoided wearing astigmatism contact lenses in the past, these may be worth trying. After I got used to them, they felt like any other contact.
Review: I've always had slight astigmatism in one eye, but eye doctors had always told me that the small improvement in vision I'd get from astigmatism contacts wouldn't be worth the trouble. On my last visit, though, I was examined by a new doctor, who...

Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism- I cannot recommend. Complaint

Date of Review:  Jun 3, 2008
Review: Complaint Problem

Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism- I cannot recommend.

I have worn contacts for over 20 years. Never had a problem.

These start out very well. They go in well and remain comfortable for about 7 days...

A BETTER CONTACT FOR THE ASTIGMATISMS AMONG US!

Date of Review:  Dec 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: Acuvue Advance Contacts for Astigmatism are a very viable alternative to glasses, are comfortable, reasonable in cost, and provide good to excellent vision clarity
Review: I'm an RN who worked for years in a ophthalmology office with an optical department, so I had my share of sample contacts, pushy contact lens salespeople, and free product trials, and the Acuvue Advance was the lens I personally chose and still wear...

My Acuvue for Astigmatism horror story.

Date of Review:  Apr 18, 2008
The Bottom Line: Do NOT recommend. Irritable, uncomfortable.
Review: I decided to try out contact lenses due to disliking my glasses. I was prescribed Acuvue ADVANCED with Astigmatism for my astigmatic right eye. I had no trouble with putting regular contact lenses in my astigmatic eye before, so I figured these...
