Epinions Great for Parents

by  wordplaya,  Apr 30, 2008
Pros: photo quality, picture options, HD video
Cons: tends to freeze for five second intervals at random. gets annoying very fast.
The Bottom Line: I believe this is a great camera for regular people. It's not too advanced, but it still has a lot of options.
Review: My previous camera had died because the screen broke when my lovely toddler got his hands onto it, so when looking for a new camera, I wanted something a little more durable. I also wanted a kodak since my previous camera was a kodak, and i had a ...

Epinions Excellent "Point & Shoot" camera

by  floridadoc,  Dec 31, 2007
Pros: Uses standard AA batteries, good "out of box" experience, excellent price for features and performance.
Cons: Had to update firmware, video quality is only "adequate to good" at higher resolutions.
The Bottom Line: I happy with this purchase and would buy it again -- especially with post holiday season pricing.
Review: My 10-year old daughter wanted a digital camera for Christmas after taking a "Digital Photography for Kids" class on the weekend. Therefore, I was looking for a small, capable and durable camera. She's not a "techno nerd," but she is clearly aware of ...

Epinions Excellent digital camera for everyday use

by  pooflay,  Dec 30, 2007
Pros: Good on batteries, Easy to use and small.
Cons: Night pictures turn out blurry if you do not have the camera on a tripod.
The Bottom Line: Easy for anyone to use. Great Kodak quality. The camera is not bulky. Easy to use Kodak software came with my camera and it is also easy to use!
Review: We decided to purchase this camera to replace two older units we have already had for many years. In the past two months we have used this camera for many different things; from low light indoor shots to action shots, to outdoor snow photos and ...

Epinions If details are important, get it

by  litesong,  Dec 20, 2007
Pros: 12MP rectangular or panoramic.
Cons: Rotten manual
The Bottom Line: For those wishing near the sharpest pix in a small camera, the Kodak Z1275 is a good choice.
Review: The Kodak Z1275's 12MP pictures are sharper than my 5 MP Kodak. Been lots of people saying 12MP is wasted on cameras with small sensors. The Kodak doesn't have the smallest light sensor, so really does take advantage of the 12MP. Out-of-focus portions of ...

Epinions Great Camera for the Novice

by  punkinpie811,  Mar 14, 2008
Pros: Lightweight, small, takes very nice pictures in bright light.
Cons: Slow /confused autofocus, movies are poor, menus may be cumbersome to get through, eats batteries.
The Bottom Line: I do like this camera but was expecting more.
Review: I bought this camera when it was relatively new to replace my aging 2003 Kodak DX3900 3.1 megapixel. At first, I was completely enamored with this product. It's so much smaller and lighter than my old one. The camera is easy to use right out of ...

Epinions an ecomical camera

by  sweetlilwookim,  Mar 24, 2008
Pros: The lens cap. It open automatacally when the power is turned on. And closes likewise.
Cons: Bad autofocus lock.
The Bottom Line: It is 200 bucks. What do you expect. When is cost $50 to fill your truck up. It's worth at least that much I feel.
Review: I’ve had this camera now for about a month. I originally bought the camera because of its low price. I was simply looking for a camera with A high mega-pixel rating and A low price. My needs were simply a good camera to take some pictures to put ...

Epinions Patience... Its worth it!

by  tarazoe,  May 3, 2008
Pros: Very good pic quality, zoom, smaller size
Cons: "Processing" freeze up
Review: It's a good camera, but between taking pics, it freezes and says 'Processing' which is very annoying. I noticed it does this if you press a couple or more buttons too close interval together. It has many different options that you can use to take ...

Epinions Don't get fooled by the specs

by  joesmith36,  Oct 14, 2007
Pros: 5x optical, okay HD video, good bright light photo quality
Cons: cheap construction, size, PC connectivity, low light quality, confused auto focus, no face recognition
The Bottom Line: Pass on this one. Go with a Nikon, Canon or Fuji for technological advantage, size and construction.
Review: I bought this camera to supplement my SLR package. I liked the 2.8f rating, the 5x optical and the HD video recording. The sharing features looked like they could be pretty fun too. I was able to find it online for about $200 so I felt that I was ...
