There are many better cameras for the price.

The Bottom Line: It could have been a good camera by "beefing" up the feel and using AA batteries. Instead, it's mediocre and over priced.
The Kodak Easy Share M763boasts an impressive 7.2 Mega pixel image sensor, but the camera in general is a let down.
The first thing you notice is the light, plastic feel to the camera. It feels fragile in your hands (don't drop one - I've seen dropped ones and they are not a pretty sight.) Sadly the camera has the feel of a $50-$60 camera, not a $130 camera.
The image quality is fine. Pictures look good when printed or displayed on your computer.
The controls are a little bit different than most cameras, but are easy to get used to.
This camera will mount on an Easy Share printer dock for quick and easy printing of your photos. The plastic adapter plate for the Easy Share docks is included.
There are a lot of accessories available from Kodak for this camera.
On the negative side - the camera uses a "special" rechargeable battery pack. You must charge the battery in the camera or pay extra ($39.95) for an external charger. While you're at it, you might as well buy a spare battery ($29.95) because you'll need it if you are ever in the middle of shooting and your battery dies. That's an extra $70 in accessories that you will probably need (not to mention memory cards, etc.) Now you have a $200 camera!
I never like cameras that take a "special" battery pack for two reasons:
1. The "special" battery is always expensive
2. When the battery dies in the middle of shooting, you must find an AC outlet (if you remembered to bring the AC adapter) and let it charge before you continue shooting.
Stick to cameras that use standard batteries like AA batteries. You can still get Ni-MH rechargeable batteries for these and pay less money. The AA chargers are inexpensive. If your batteries go dead during shooting, just pop into any electronics, drug, food or convenience store and pick up a set of Alkaline AA's and go back to shooting.
Summary - While the photos are good quality thanks to the 7.2 MP CCD, the camera feels cheap and uses "special" expensive battery packs. I can't recommend this camera for anything other than occasional, light use (and just hope your battery is charged when you need it.)
