Good camera

The Bottom Line: Really great product, but not without its faults.
This is a good camera for the average picture taker, which I am. This was a very well received gift from my boyfriend this past Christmas he knew I was waiting for the after-season sales to replace my well used 3mp Fuji and went ahead and surprised me with this. The camera is small enough to fit in your pocket and has a huge view screen with not so complicated facial recognition. The default photo option is handy and pretty much what the normal person will use most often for taking pics of friends, pets, trees, flowers: things that aren t really moving around that much. When you use the easy to navigate features screen to pick a different mode (like sports or night) you will be amazed! I swear there is an option for every possible picture taking scenario under the sun. There is even an in a museum taking a picture of something in a tank setting. Cool! The only issues I have with this are that there is a pretty long wait between pics when using any setting other than the default. No click click click action which is nice sometimes when you want natural, candid shots. Other than that, I am a big fan.
