Author's Review
I purchased one of these cameras in 2004 for about $200 in Canadian funds at the local pharmacy. Yes, I know, thats a lot for a camera like this; but I was desperate for a digital camera at that time really.
Even though I am waiting on a new camera, I still use the camera today. The battery life seems to be terrible, about a couple minutes after I put in my brand new Nickel Metal rechargable Energizer batteries, yes the good kind, and in several minutes I got the annoying low battery indicator flashing on the lower section of the screen.
The camera itself is pretty good. The "Share" Button and the EasyShare software provide many opportunities for photo customization, printing, sending to family members and that kind of thing. There is a huge con that bugs me all the time, there is no audio on the videos you take. That is so annoying, but I have to live with it.
You can customize in the menu the resolution you want, from best to good, 3.2 megapixels to the lowest resolution. The camera itself has a 16 MB internal memory, and has a slot for you to insert a SecureDigital memory card.
