Author's Review

I have owned this camera for 4 years. Taking Up close photos are great. However, if I zoom in on a person that isn't within arms reach away from me or in a small room with me, it is dark or blurred.  Tried to crop them to zoom in on the person but it is unrecognizable. If I tried to lighten the picture, it would have a redish color to it. If I need to take a picture of my child on stage for school (even if I am sitting not too far from the stage) my pictures are terrible. For bright indoor pictures I need to either use a lot of light in the room or set camera on "night". Setting it on "night" causes the image to be blurred unless you tell the person not to move until you say so because of a delay after the flash goes off. The videos are no sound, no zoom, and they are some what dark unless you are outside or in a very bright area. Finally, as long as you use rechargeable batteries, you will be out of luck. I could NEVER get the camera to pull regular batteries. It would drain them instantly as soon as I would cut the camera on. Please shop around before buying this camera....Cheap is not always better..
