Died for no reason overnite!

by   dawnzlight ,  Sep 22, 2008
Pros: Turn on and go. Both vid and camera
Cons: shutter delay. Stopped working after only 1 year.
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't suggest it. My grandfather's camera from 1950's is still working today. Where is that quality in our products today?
Review: Used it the night before, went to use it again that following morning and it was like looking thru a funny mirror, or as another person described it, it was like paint dripping. I let it sit for 24 hours, changed batteries..not the cause of course, but ...

Nice Pictures, easy to use

by   debredz2r ,  Mar 20, 2008
Pros: Easy to use, good outdoor quality pictures.
Cons: Batteries. You need a bunch on hand. Some indoor shots will not come out.
The Bottom Line: The Kodak is a good camera for new users. I gave poor quality pictures because of the dark indoor shots in certain conditions.
Review: I have had my Kodak C533 for a year now. I bought it as a bundle pack, meaning it came with the easy share printer and camera. I bought this because my mom got the Kodak C613 bundle for Christmas, she had let me use hers. I liked it so much that when ...

BLACK SCREEN

by   mcbeen ,  Mar 9, 2008
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Manufacturers defect and a camera that doesn't work
The Bottom Line: Do not buy electronics from Wal Mart. Do not buy anything from Kodak. do not stand behind
Review: I had the camera for about six months before the screen just went BLACK. A bit of a shadow when you point it to a lot of light. I liked it while it worked and bought it because I thought Kodak had a good reputation. I didn't drop it, I haven't had it ...

Great for a First Timer!

by   dolphin8105 ,  Dec 6, 2007
Pros: easy to use, clear picutres
Cons: eats battery power fast
Review: I must admit that I know nothing about cameras and not much about technology in general. I got this camera as a gift and thought that I would not be able to use it. After opening the box, reading a few pages of the manual, I was ready to go! I love ...

Easy is the right word for the EasyShare C533 from Kodak

by   ltrain ,  Sep 19, 2007
Pros: Small, light, GREAT PHOTOS in nearly any light.
Cons: Movies can be less than stellar is lighting isn't perfect.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this to ANYONE in good conscience...it's truly a great camera for someone who wants instant gratification with a purchase.
Review: When I buy a product, especially an electronics product, I don't want to have to spend weeks fine tuning it to get results. I'm the guy who opens the box and expects the product within to be setup and ready to go just like a screwdriver, adjustable ...

End result: Useless

by   etoile ,  Sep 16, 2007
Pros: Easy to navigate menu
Cons: Zero battery life
Review: This camera is just useless to me. I bought it at a high price from a store in Las Vegas because my camera was stolen the day before we went to the Grand Canyon. I didn't know much about the features but the price was right. Unfortunately, it has a ...

Pros: Great settings, great photos, great price, nice size. Overall a great camara
Cons: Like any other camara it goes through the batteries, I recommend getting rechargable batteries.
Review: I have only ever owned two digital camaras. Both of them were/are kodak. the first one I had was stolen, or i'd still have it. The second one I bought in a rush. I really didn't have time to shop around because it was so close to christmas. I decided ...

The Kodak EasyShare C533 Digital Camera Does Exactly What I Hoped It Would Do

by   Horswispr , top reviewer in Electronics at Epinions.com ,  Apr 12, 2007
Pros: inexpensive; small and attractive; easy to use; great editing package; good quality photographs
Cons: memory card necessary; gobbles batteries; don't know if the case would survive a serious hit
The Bottom Line: The Kodak C533 is a good basic digital camera that comes with a versatile editing program.
Review: I am clueless when it comes to digital cameras. I still own the Olympus OM-1 I bought back in the dark ages, and it has suited me fine until recently. But when I started listing stuff on Ebay, I needed something that could take a couple of decent ...
