Nice Pictures, easy to use
Pros:
Easy to use, good outdoor quality pictures.
Cons:
Batteries. You need a bunch on hand. Some indoor shots will not come out.
The Bottom Line:
The Kodak is a good camera for new users. I gave poor quality pictures because of the dark indoor shots in certain conditions.

I have had my Kodak C533 for a year now.
I bought it as a bundle pack, meaning it came with the easy share printer and camera.
I bought this because my mom got the Kodak C613 bundle for Christmas, she had let me use hers. I liked it so much that when I saw the Kodak C533 bundle on sale for $149.99, I thought that was a great buy so we bought it.
I found these Kodaks very easy to use, although I haven't figured out certain features, I just wanted it to take pictures. I love how I can download them to my computer. Mine came with all the cords and software. I love the printer it came with, very easy to use and prints beautiful pictures. While my mom's is a 6 pixel, the 5 pixel is not that much in difference in picture quality. For a starter digital camera, this has been great.
With all digital cameras, these go through batteries like crazy. Even using the Lithium or whatever those Energizer batteries are that say extended life for digital cameras, all I know is they are rather expensive. While they last a little longer, they still go through batteries, I suggest keeping a handful on hand at all times. I know of someone who uses the rechargable ones and said they are better for the digital cameras. I just haven't bought the rechargable ones yet. That was because I had to send mine out for service and it took a while to get it back.
I guess one thing I didn't like was some of the lighting quality. I can take a picture in the dark and it comes out great, like it was taken in daylight. On the other hand, when I am in a building, for instance in a huge college gym during my daughter's cheer competitions, I could not get a picture to come out no matter what setting I had it on. I even changed the light setting on the camera to flourescent, and whatever else, still couldn't get them to come out. They came out dark. Otherwise, the picture quality is great.
One thing I recommend is the extended warranty. After a few months of using my camera, the battery compartment door broke. I was using tape on it to keep it closed until I finally sent it in.
Kodak has a year warranty on their products, but I recommend the extended year or longer. I had to contact Kodak, and they told me where to send my camera. The postage was around $20.00. It was supposed to take only a couple weeks or less, but it took much longer, more like 2 months.
I didn't like having to contact Kodak. It was obvious that the 800 number I had to call was not in the States, they have heavy English accents, and I had a hard time understanding what they were saying for the address I was supposed to write down to send my camera to. The wait time each time I called was around 30 minutes. I had to call them back 2 or 3 times to confirm that I had the right address down because I was having the worst time understanding what they were saying. The last time I called, I had to have them spell it out because what they were saying was totally different than what I was understanding them to be saying. This is what it sounded like they were saying: Telequam Services, (they said services instead of international, too) Chicago, Texas.
This is what it was supposed to be: Teleplan International, Hidalgo, Texas. Which is why I say, have them SPELL it out unless you are very good at understanding English accents. The last time I called was when I was told it was supposed to be "international", not "services" which is what I was told the first couple of times I had called.
There was also a non-800 number I could call to check the status of my shipment. The number was a Texas phone number. The lady whose number I had never answered the phone, but whenever I left a message, she was pretty good at getting back with me.
I love having this camera, it is so much nicer than messing around with the old 35mm film. I like having the SD card for the camera, which you have to have in order to get a ton of pictures because the internal memory on the camera will only hold 4 pictures total.
