Lexmark E120n Laser Printer

When my HP 1100 gave up the ghost I just wanted a similar sort of workhorse, and the E120n by lexmark seemed to fit the job description. As I use a lot of recycled paper, the single sheet feed produced great results, though the insertion needs to be more precise than the HP 1100 required. If you line it up wrong or the paper is too creased, you get a jam.

Then one day I needed to print multiple copies on fresh paper, and was shocked by the appalling quality. The toner is simply not delivered to the paper properly. It's as if they forced the printer to perform at a certain speed and to hell with the quality. I tried it again today with a different ream of fresh paper and exactly the same thing happened.

Lexmark should be ashamed of themselves for releasing this piece of crap.
