Good quality for the price

The Bottom Line: Given the features you get for the price, this headset is a steal. I highly recommend this microphone/earphone headset for PS3 players and PC owners alike.
I recently purchased the Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB Headphones at my local electronics store. From the last two weeks of using the headphones, I can already tell that these are decent quality for the price I paid ($22 after a store sale plus a mail-in rebate).
Let me note that I am using these headphones, not with my PC, but with my Playstation 3. I was slightly worried about computability with my game console, however the headphones worked like a charm. Just plug, adjust the PS3 settings to recognize the headphones, and play. I'm currently using the set to play Grand Theft Auto 4 online, and I'm very pleased.
Comfort:
The earphone covers are well padded. They are covered with a low-end soft plastic. They are a little small, but still have enough coverage to keep your ears happy. They aren't the best for comfort, but are definitely NOT uncomfortable.
Flexibility:
The headphones are adjustable in two ways. First, like most headphones, the headpiece is adjustable for different head sizes. Secondly, the microphone is adjustable, as it pivots in a circular fashion around one of the earphones. While this is a nice feature, it would be even better if the designers had built in further flexibility in order to bring the microphone closer or further away from your mouth. That said, the microphone is well distanced from your face, and lack of flexibility in this area is not all that disappointing in the grand scheme of things.
USB Connectivity:
The USB connectivity is a big bonus, in that I needed USB in order to use with the PS3 (PS3 does not take traditional analog inputs). I feel that the digital USB connection is has less static than other analog headsets I have used.
Inline Volume Controls:
The inline volume controls are something that should not be overlooked. Whether you use this headset on your PC or on a gaming console, you're going to want volume controls at your fingertips. The volume controls sit a couple of feet down the cord from your face, so they are always right within reach. The location of the controls on the cord is fixed, so don't expect to be able to adjust! The controls include a volume up button, volume down button, and a mute button. The controls are sized perfectly, so they don't get in the way. The entire inline control is about the size of a nickle.
Noise-Canceling:
I have recently used a microphone that did not have noise cancellation, and now I really appreciate this headset! Without noise cancellation, you get a ton of background noise. You also pick up rattling if the microphone moves around at all. This headset has the noise cancellation feature, which avoids all that! The result is a very crisp output. I now get no rattling/background noise. Just my lovely voice.
Finally, the cord is ample length at 8 feet. This is particularly important for PS3 players, as no one wants to sit three feet from their 40 inch LCD TV while they play video games! Some other models I was looking at had shorter cords, so this was definitely a factor in me purchasing this headset.
