Magellan is a horrible company. Pick Garmin if you can.

Do NOT buy this or any other Magellan. On the surface this seemed like a good deal and I went for it. Looking back, I really wish I had gone with Garmin instead... ANY Garmin.
I'm using this GPS until I can afford to replace it. It's not very accurate at all.
First, the Firmware is completely out of date and horrible. Updating it will break WAAS feature. Then you get to have the pleasure of talking to the WORST support you can imagine. Megellan support does not exist. Someone wrote up a script, sent it to an Indian Call Center and decided that's it. You can't RMA, you can't get any help at all. This GPS should have had a giant "AS IS!" label on it. 2 seperate friends of mine also bought one of these, I got lucky, mine worked, my friends had ZERO luck getting the GPS replaced or repaired. I had the same experience when I needed the firmware fixed.
Do NOT buy Magellan. Get a Garmin, I have Garmin Marine for my boat. When I have a problem (rare) with the Garmin I have access to timely and accurate support.
I really cant accuratly describe the level of Fail that Magellan Achieved with this GPS, it has so much potential and I would have loved to use it more. To bad they decided to just leave me hanging. So long Magellan! This is one customer who WONT hand you another dollar.
