The Bottom Line: This a wonderful camera because of the resolution of 7.6MP for stand alone photos and 2.0MP for Videos.

doesn't honor rebate

Review: Haven't yet installed this web camera, but Microsoft doesn't honor rebates. there was a little scratch in barcode (still readable). I recommend that you boycott manufacturer's that play games with rebates. It's just another way to bait and switch.

Flawed in several ways - I will return this product

The Bottom Line: I do NOT recommend this, because installation didn't work out at all, and the actual performance was lousy.
Review: My experience was not good. It is clear that the CD software has to be installed first before one inserts the USB - good. But upon installing the software, it took several long minutes for the progress bar to reach 100%. This is just a webcam right?...

If you chat online, get a webcam!

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this webcam because it really does what it says on the box, and is good value for money too!
Review: Due to my old webcam falling off the computer table and cracking I decided I would upgrade to a better one. I think webcams are a brilliant invention and makes chatting to friends online so much more personal.

VX-6000 Too Buggy for Release

The Bottom Line: Not worth the money; and especially not worth the time and frustration.
Review: The high resolution of this webcam, and the Microsoft label, led me to hope that finally there might be a competitor to the high quality 3-Com (aka Vicam) webcams, that were discontinued a few years ago.

Microsoft Life Cam NX 6000 -- The Prefect Upgrade for any Notebook

Review: I ordered my Microsoft Life Cam NX 6000 for Office Depot the first part of January 2007. However, I only received it last week. But the Microsoft Life Cam NX 6000 was definitely worth waiting for.
