Microsoft Xbox 360 Arcade Console

I was always a playstation fan up until recently.  I finally plucked up the courage to change and was not disappointed. The graphics are fantastic and gameplay on all the games that I have.  The only let down about this particular version of the console is once you've downloaded a few updates and signed up to xbox live the 256mb of storage space is not enough. To avoid this  I would pay the extra money for the hardrive version.  It is also quite likely that an xbox 360 will suffer from rrod (red ring of death).  This is a commonly occuring problem but microsoft have extended the warranty on this fault and the service fantastic.
