Muddy good fun, both for bikers and truckers.

I like Motorstorm. There aren't many games that can capture the sheer thrill of off-road racing, but this game does it with style. Whether you're flying across high jumps and narrow trails on a dirt bike, or ploughing through the thick mud in the ravines in a lorry, you're sure to be having fun. And nothing can match the thrill of exploding over the finish line, beating your closest opponent by milliseconds because you timed your use of the boost button to perfection.
However, like most good things, there are bad parts as well. The races do get samey quite quickly, especially as there are only 5 or 6 different tracks to race on. This is offset a bit by the game restricting what you can use for the races though, as you'll need to use a different route depending what you're using in the race.
Graphics-wise, this game's exquisite, especially after your vehicle explodes, and is put back on the track completely clean... only to get mud spattered after a few corners. And it's not only your vehicle that gets spattered. Your screen will also get virtual mud on it, adding to the atmosphere of the game as you can't see where you're going for a few seconds.
All in all, this is a good game. The only thing it really needed was an offline multiplayer mode, but you can always go online for your multiplayer thrills.
