I am a computer programmer so I sit at my desk in front of my computer 8 hours a day. Naturally, I listen to music that whole time. I have iTunes, Rhapsody and I listen to internet radio streams. For a long time, I had a normal set of headphones. The old headphones were a little unusual as they had a really long cord. Even with the old cord though, I would still have the headphones yanked off my head from time to time.

Then I got a new cell phone with Bluetooth. Cool! I messed around with that and my computer for a while. Things worked really well when I discovered that my USB Bluetooth dongle supports an Audio Gateway. Whoa...

I picked up the HT-820 Headset. I connected it to the power source and let it charge up. After a few hours of charging I got myself connected to the PC. Within just a few minutes, I was listening to music wirelessly. SWEET!

The sound quality is surprisingly good and the headphones are pretty comfortable. The range is AMAZING! My USB dongle claims a range of 33 feet. It's really surprising how far that it.

The HT820 also connects to my phone AT THE SAME TIME! Talk about cool. I can be listening to music when a phone call comes in. I hit a button on the side of the headset and pow... I'm using my phone. The headset switches from the music to the phone and then back again. How cool is that?

The only problem I have is that connecting the headset to the Bluetooth dongle in the morning is sometimes problematic. It sometimes requires me to to manually disconnect and reconnect the headset. In some rare circumstances, I have to unpair and re-pair the device. It's not that bad.

Compared with wireless USB headphones, these are plenty expensive. However, the range I get, the crystal clear sound and the ability to have one USB Bluetooth dongle and several things all talking together makes it worth it for me.
