Cons: Can be tricky to manually set aperture or shutter speed. D40x has more pixels.

Pros: Ease of use, quality of photos, freedom to take numerous photos in short timeframe.

Cons: Manual focus mode takes a little time to learn but the results are worth it.

The Bottom Line: Stop wasting smaller amounts of money repeatedly buying cheaper point and clicks. This camera is worth the price.

Cons: No in camera cropping option for images. This must be done through another program.
