Pros: Changing each photo style and tone before you take each photo
Cons: Video option is not the best buy a camcorder if you want to take videos
Review: I bought this camera early 2009 although I've been a keen photographer for years using film SLR I thought it was time to step up to a digital SLR. Wow Brilliant camera you can change normal colour photo's to sepia black and white and change the...

Pros: D90 adds a faster face detection to its Live View, Continuous shooting 4fps
Cons: The lens seems just slightly less sharp than the kit lenses from Canon
The Bottom Line: It's a fast camera that delivers a great shooting experience and first-rate photos for the money.

Review: I really enjoy shooting with this camera; it's comfortable to hold, and the control layout and navigation should be immediately recognizable to anyone who's shot with a Nikon dSLR recently. If you're making the switch from another brand, there might...

Pros: Video mode, dynamic focus, D-lighting, sensor cleaner
Cons: tendency to over expose slightly
The Bottom Line: Go buy it!

Review: I just picked the kit up this month. First, let me say that I sold the kit lens because I already have other Nikon Lenses. This review is about the camera, not the lens. For the record, the lens I use most often is a Nikkor 18-200 VR.
Anyway,... |

Pros: Like the great Nikon D80 but incrementally better in many areas.
Cons: Video mode is a little buggy and requires manual focus.
The Bottom Line: Handles great, can shoot video in a pinch, great starter lens included in package, lots of little extras like Active D-Lighting to help you take the best shots possible.

Review: Skip down and read "USER EXPERIENCES" first if that is what you want to know about, the BODY and LENS section is for those who want to know the technical details. :)
I'm going to assume that anyone willing to spend over $1000 on a camera... |

Review: My wife and I bought a Nikon D70 as our first "real" transition away from film (and we haven't looked back). We still love the camera and pull it out for all the holidays but I noticed that we didn't use it as much as we thought. When our friend's...

Pros: My description speaks for itself!
Cons: You get what you pay for. There're aren't any!

Review: This camera with a 18-105mm lens allows you to focus on the finer details in life. Such as a bee on a flower, a favorite face shot of your son and daughter in a precious moment. On the other side of the spectrum the 105mm side you can bring details...
