Suddenly, my N-gage is looking worlds better.

by  dogeymon ,  Feb 24, 2006
19 out of 19 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Best design ever for an advance...
Cons: ...but looks are all it excells at.
The Bottom Line: A novelty. That's it.

Review: Nintendo are drunken sailors who spend money like drunken sailors. But to be fair, they're at least intelligent drunken sailors. They know even if they release the same Gameboy system four different times, it'll still sell by the millions. Although,...

Size does matter? Gameboy Micro review.

by  StarSoldier1 ,  Feb 17, 2006
30 out of 31 people found this review helpful.
Pros: It's so easy to hide this thing from your boss or teacher.
Cons: It isn't anything new really yet it still costs a lot of money.
The Bottom Line: I still like the GBA but if you are going to make something smaller then make it cheaper!

Review: GAME BOY MICRO
(2005-????)

I was worried when Nintendo first announced a 32-bit successor to the insanely popular original 8-bit Game Boy Color way back in 2001. Sure, the Game Boy Advance was a cool system...

Small is the New Big: Nintendo Game Boy Micro

by  B_Campbell ,  Oct 4, 2005
84 out of 84 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Small: 4"x2"x1", light, extremely bright display, trendy, standard headphone jack, huge GBA library
Cons: Feels fragile, unprotected display, no Game Boy/GBC compatibility
The Bottom Line: The Micro is a tough choice at only $20 more than the SP. Cool and stylish, it's a great answer to Sony's PSP, and hundreds of games are already available.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Nintendo has practically owned the handheld gaming market ever since the release of the original big grey brick of a Game Boy. Back then, nobody cared that they were playing games in only pea-soup green or that the thing drained batteries like...

Great gaming on a screen the size of 2 postage stamps.

by  fruityrock ,  Oct 2, 2005
15 out of 15 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Small, fun, and VERY portable.
Cons: Aging technology, no new features, expensive, needs a "sleep" mode badly.
The Bottom Line: It's a fun little system. If you have money to spend on toys and like video games, you can't go wrong. Look out for bad shoulder buttons and dead pixels.

Review: The word is out; there's nothing new with the Nintendo Game Boy Micro, except size. Why buy it? It's small, cute, fun, and you have a hundred bucks to blow... oh- and you're a gadget lover. I must say, it's a cool gadget for sure. The unit comes...
